About the Show
Get ready to experience the ultimate story of rebellion, freedom, and rhythm! Hillcrest Secondary School is bringing the iconic stage musical Footloose to life in this year's secondary show.
When big-city teenager Ren McCormack moves to a conservative town where dancing and rock music have been banned, he finds himself at odds with the local community. Determined to bring back self-expression and joy, Ren leads his classmates in a fight to break the rules, heal old wounds, and throw a night to remember. Packed with high-energy choreography, memorable hit songs, and heartwarming moments, Footloose celebrates youth, freedom, and the power of standing up for what you believe in.
